Coffee in the Country

Coffee in the Country is a cherished all-ages community gathering held every other Friday morning in June, July, and August from 8:30–11:00 AM in the rural haven of Berne, MN. Hosted by Zwingli United Church of Christ, this event offers a welcoming space for individuals and families to connect, relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life in the ag district. With a variety of activities such as lawn games, live music, and creative play areas for children, Coffee in the Country fosters a sense of belonging and promotes mental, physical, and social well-being while also providing educational opportunities. Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the event is free or low-cost, ensuring that everyone can participate without financial barriers. Through these gatherings, we aim to strengthen community ties, support local culture, and enhance the quality of life in our rural setting.
