Welcome to Zwingli United Church of Christ – the Berne Church!
This is a church that’s big enough to do God’s work, and small enough to know your name.

Zwingli UCC is a warm, welcoming congregation made up of people from across rural communities who gather on a hilltop just outside Berne. Worship is informal, intimate, and intergenerational. Everyone is welcome—wherever they are on their faith journey—and all are invited to Christ’s table.

The church is part of the United Church of Christ, a denomination known for its openness, inclusivity, and belief that “God is still speaking.” Rooted in the gospel and guided by Jesus’ call to love God and neighbor, this congregation seeks to live out its faith through service, hospitality, and joyful community.

Whether it’s through Sunday worship, mission projects, making pizza on summer Wednesdays, or enjoying live music with neighbors, Zwingli UCC offers a place where people can connect, grow, and belong. All are truly welcome here.
